BOMA International Conference - A Look Back with Treasurer Tamika Edwards

As BOMA Oakland/East Bay’s 2026 Treasurer, Tamika Edwards had a great time at this year’s BOMA International Conference & Expo in Long Beach. For Tamika, one of the highlights was spending time exploring the vendor expo and connecting with exhibitors.

“I had a great time at this year’s BOMA International conference!” Tamika shared. “This year I spent a lot of time at the vendor expo. Most of the vendors booths were interactive, cool games, and corporate swag abound.”

From testing her skills at Plinko and putting to checking out creative displays, Tamika enjoyed the opportunity to experience what exhibitors had to offer. One standout was TKE, which featured t-shirt printing machines at its booth and created custom shirts for attendees.

Tamika also enjoyed meeting several first-time exhibitors, including a BOMA OEB member and a local vendor she hopes will become a BOMA member soon.

“Overall, this year’s conference for me was not only about the workshops but more so about the vendor expo, meeting new and first time expo vendors and networking,” she said.

For Tamika, the conference was a great opportunity to connect with new people, discover innovative vendors, and strengthen relationships throughout the commercial real estate community.
