Join Regional Water Experts from EBMUD and Contra Costa Water and learn how to prepare for water restrictions and conservation. You'll learn about simple ways to reduce water use, available rebates (interior/exterior), rising water costs, landscape conversions, and different types of subsurface irrigation. You'll hear real-world examples of how buildings revamped their water usage and landscape.

Charles Bohlig, EBMUD 
Charles Bohlig has been with East Bay Municipal Utility District since 2004 where he currently is the Supervisor of Water Conservation. In this role, he creates and implements their incentive programs, administers their transformation into an informational services group, and directs their water budget program. He is also the District’s lead on implanting the State’s Long Term Framework water conservation plan. While at EBMUD he has co-authored two, 10-year Water Conservation Master Plans, and three Urban Water Management Plans as well as forecasting water conservation’s savings in the 2050 District’s Demand Forecast. Before joining EBMUD, Charles was an Energy Analysis for Pacific Gas & Electric Company. He has over 25 years of experience in water and energy resource management and currently serves on the Board of California Water Efficiency Partnership (CalWEP).
 

Bob Eagle, Contra Costa Water
Bob is a Water Use Efficiency Specialist for the Contra Costa Water District (CCWD). He has worked in the field of water use efficiency for over 30 years. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in landscape architecture from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona. He has five years’ experience in landscape and irrigation design, seven years experience in landscape construction, and one year in landscape maintenance. He is a certified Landscape Water Auditor.
 
Bob runs the following programs and projects at CCWD: commercial and multi-family water use evaluation, commercial and multi-family irrigation equipment rebate, commercial, multi-family, and single-family lawn to garden rebate, single-family irrigation controller rebate, dedicated meter landscape water budget, Bette Boatmun Conservation Garden, landscape and irrigation talks and provides technical support for the Water Wise House Calls.  

Manny Moreno, PJMB Commercial
Manny Moreno is President of PJMB Commercial, a family-owned real estate services firm based in the San Francisco Bay Area. Manny has over 22 years of experience in the commercial real estate industry. he is focused on asset, property, operation, and construction management for a portfolio of properties located in Silicon Valley and the Tri-Valley areas.

During his career, he has managed a wide variety of assets including a Class A, low-rise campus in Pleasanton, a portfolio of mixed-use properties throughout the East Bay, the former Naval Air Station, Alameda, City of Alameda cellular sites, the former Naval Industrial Supply Center, and a Class A high-rise in downtown San Francisco.

Manny is involved at all levels of the Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA). Currently serving a second term on BOMA International's Executive Committee; BOMA International's Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Committee; and the Commercial Real Estate Certification Institute's Board of Managers. Past involvement includes Co-Vice Chair of the BOMAPAC Council, President of the Pacific Southwest Region, member of BOMA California's Board of Directors, and Past President of BOMA OEB.
