Blake joined Transwestern in early 2018. She oversees property management, construction and engineering of Transwestern’s Northern California and Seattle assets. Current institutional clients include DWS, Pacific Oak, and Ventas. Blake is a well-known industry leader with a deep understanding of operating assets to meet real estate investor needs. She oversees all physical operations, lease administration, long range planning, financial reporting and contract management. She upholds the highest standards of service for her clients, identifying innovative technologies and recruiting top talent.
Prior to joining Transwestern, Blake Peterson was a Director of Asset Services for Cushman & Wakefield, overseeing 34 Class-A commercial office buildings in downtown San Francisco totaling more than 7 million square feet for clients such as MetLife, UBS, CreditSuisse, ARA, Invesco, GE and Nuveen.
Blake brings 20 years of experience in property management, specifically in operations, construction and acquisition strategy. She has a keen interest in energy efficiency projects and actively pursues opportunities for reducing costs and optimizing building performance in a cost-effective manner. Blake brings professionalism, creativity, energy and personal dedication to each of her projects.
Charley Berthoud, Transwestern
Life Science Chief Engineer
Charley Berthoud is a facilities operations and management professional, currently working as a union Chief Engineer for a 1.1M square foot Class-A Life Science portfolio in South San Francisco. An expert in critical building systems and 24/7 operations, he oversees the engineering, maintenance, and construction activities of lab & life science space, mostly centered on tenants with biochemical operations. This includes an onsite vivarium and active production and research labs.
Charley holds current certifications as a High Rise Life Safety Director and Fire pump Operator.
