Come learn more about BREEAM and the first Bay Area Building to receive it’s BREEAM certification. Jose Guevara with American Assets Trust, will share his experience of going through the process at The Landmark@ One Market. Green Able’s Matt Montanez, a licensed BREEAM Assessor, will give you detailed information on how BREEAM assessments work and how your building can benefit from BREEAM.

Matt has more than 15 years of engineering experience. He joined Able Services as a utility engineer in 2005 and progressed through the apprenticeship ultimately becoming a journeyman. In 2010 he left to work for ABM as Assistant Chief Engineer and then Chief Engineer. He returned to Able Services in 2016 as an Engineering Manager. Matt currently manages several engineering accounts throughout Northern California.

Jose Guevara, a lifelong San Franciscan, is a 25 year Bay Area Commercial Real Estate Professional. A certified RPA with a LEED AP designation, since 2008, with a California Real Estate License. Presently the Bay Area’s Senior Portfolio Manager for American Assets Trust, a San Diego based Real Estate development, Ownership and Management Company.
Jose is an active member of several BOMA Committees (Historical Building Committee, Energy & Environment Committee, and the Emergency Preparedness Committee), represents BOMA on the Board of San Francisco’s Better Market Street Project, member of San Francisco’s Transportation Management Association and USGBC. Jose is also active in IFMA and IREM. He is currently an instructor for BOMA’s RPA Program. He assisted in achieving BREEAM Certification, as well as, LEED Gold certification for the Historic Landmark Building in San Francisco, a half million square foot property that recently celebrated its 100th
year anniversary (built in 1917).
