Backpack to Briefcase: Best Practices in RFP’s
When going through the RFP process, it is important to develop the criteria for your project early, not doing so is like navigating a ship without a rudder-it may eventually get to the destination, but the trip would be time consuming. In this series we will provide an overview of the basics, and some real world strategies from both the Property Management and Vendor sides. Our goal is to help you feel more confident managing your RFP from creation to what happens after you’ve successfully completed your RFP.
After the session, join us for happy hour and appetizers at Hops & Scotch nearby.
Target Audience:
This is for anyone who is new to the RFP process, who may not know what questions to ask, how to compare bids, what to look for.
Learning Outcomes:
- Participants will understand what an RFP is and what is involved in the process of creating a timeline.
- Participants will know how to review RFP submissions and compare for proper evaluation for the Award Process.
- Participants will know how to communicate to the vendors participating in the RFP process how/why they perhaps were not the chosen vendor.
