The key component to successfully managing a remote team is trust. With it, productivity, engagement, and job satisfaction accelerate. Without it, workflow stalls, people get frustrated, and we become micromanagers. It takes authentic leadership to manage a remote team. In this session, we’ll provide tips to build trust and get to know your team. We’ll introduce thoughtful pulse-check questions, and help you create a feedback loop that makes the relationship more proactive and less reactive.
About the Speaker
Becky Lunders, Consultant & Founder
Consultant and trainer Becky Lunders brings experience in the corporate, nonprofit and media sectors. She honed her leadership development skills while at the American Cancer Society. She oversaw the Relay For Life program in California which grew from 24 events raising $4.1 million to more than 300 events raising $31 million under her watch. Becky knows how to train, motivate and inspire volunteers and staff to reach strategic goals while fulfilling the organizational mission.
Becky is a consultant, cheerleader and coach all wrapped up in one. She is a dynamic facilitator, a poised presenter and a skilled coach. She has a unique ability to connect with her audience and motivate people. Becky graduated from the University of Washington in Seattle with a B.A. in Broadcast Journalism. She has immersed herself in leadership development most of her life.
