Call To Action: Let Congress Hear Your Voice to Protect Non-Profits and Associations

As Congress debates tax reform in 2025, some members of Congress are considering raising taxes on nonprofit organizations--including charities, associations, professional societies, and veterans groups--to pay for the extension of expiring tax cuts. Increasing the tax burden on these organizations would leave less funding for nonprofits to drive toward their missions, resulting in negative consequences for the communities we serve.

Now is the time for Congress to hear your voice. Tax legislation will be developed over the next few weeks as the House of Representatives works toward finalizing the initial draft of the tax bill.
