Call To Action: Commercial Rent Control

Assembly Bill 380 (Gonzalez; D-Los Angeles) would impose commercial rent control and eviction bans on leases during declared emergencies. It would override negotiated commercial agreements, interfere with business-to-business contracts, and saddle both public and private property owners with unrecoverable losses.The bill is set to be voted on by the Assembly this week.
