Emerging Professional Annual Conference and CMCP Scholarships - Due March 31stBOMA Oakland/East Bay is pleased to announce a scholarship for the Certified Manager of Commercial Properties™ (CMCP™). The scholarship will pay the $675 application fee, which includes the handbook and test. You must be a BOMA Oakland/East Bay member to apply for this scholarship.
Additionally, BOME OEB is giving out a BOMA International Annual Conference scholarship is open to award a young or emerging professional working in commercial real estate to attend BOMA International’s Annual Conference and Expo (June 24-27 in Kansas City). The scholarship is for registration, airfare and hotel costs, up to $2,500.
The Pacific Southwest Region also has a scholarship to the BOMA International Annual Conference.
Bay Lights Installations Bay Bridge Donations NeededThe Bay Lights installation on Bay Bridge, a world-famous lights installation is scheduled to go dark and is due for a retrofit with a fundraising campaign actively under way. Lights go out tonight/Sunday at 8PM and won't return unless enough money is raised to launch the new and better version; which will now be 360-degrees viewable, not just from the SF waterfront but also from Oakland, Alameda, Berkeley, etc.
Virtual Session: PG&E's Market Access Program
Join BOMA San Francisco's Energy and Environment Committee on a virtual information session on PG&E's Market Access Program on March 9 at 1:30 PM. PG&E has recently extended their Market Access Program, which offers substantial financial incentives for commercial building energy retrofits that reduce peak demand and offer benefits to grid reliability.
