In Memory: Rhonda Marolda

On Monday, August 22, BOMA Oakland/East Bay lost an invaluable member of our community, Rhonda
Marolda.   In early 2020, while the rest of the world was preoccupied with figuring out how to live in a global
pandemic, Rhonda took on the additional challenge of fighting her own unprecedented battle against
cancer. Rhonda showed amazing resilience throughout her fight all the while somehow maintaining her
cheerful, enthusiastic disposition.

Call for Board Members

We are now accepting applications for three board director positions that will begin in January 2023.  One position is available to Principal Members and two for Associate Members. They are two-year terms and any member in good standing is eligible to apply for a position.  For 2023, the Board is looking for applications to continue improving the diversity of the board around job roles targeting engineering, life science, retail members, and 0-7 years of experience in the Commercial Real Estate industry.
