BART Reinstates Mask Mandate

Effective immediately, BART riders and employees are required to wear masks on trains and at station platforms until July 18 under a new mandate approved by the agency’s Board of Directors.

Now that Downtown Oakland is starting to open up again and employees are coming back to work, Oakland Central is excited to kick off a new events series called The Market at Pablo’s Alley in Frank Ogawa Plaza in partnership with The Rotunda Building.

BOMA OEB New Staff

New PG&E Energy Education Series

To reach the ambitious energy reduction and emissions goals set at the national and state levels, there must be a concerted effort to pursue improvements to our existing building stock. According to Next 10’s study titled “Untapped Potential of Commercial Buildings Energy Use and Emissions,” these buildings represent 37% of California’s total electricity consumption, and energy efficiency improvements using readily-available technologies could reduce the energy use of these facilities by 80 percent. The focus of this five-part Commercial Building Retrofit series is to give building stakeholders the guidance, tools, and motivation to upgrade existing buildings. The opportunity is vast and the time to act is now.
