Split Roll Defeated: Give Back to Continue Advocacy
BOMA OEB and BOMA Cal were successful in our work on No On Prop 15/Split Roll. We are able to do so due to BOMA International and its Industry Defense Fund funding $100,000 to fight the Split Roll. It's our turn to give back! We'd like to encourage all our members to donate. Donate $25 and get BOMA mask, what a deal! There are even more incentives for donations of $75 and $125. Find our more about the great work the BOMA PAC does to ensure CRE is at the table with legislators and regulators.

State Shelter In Place Rescinded
State Shelter In Place Order Rescinded:
Today the California order for shelter in place was rescinded. Due to long-term projections for ICU bed availability and with the state’s Stay-at-Home order rescinded and the county being placed in the purple tier, Alameda County today said that activities and businesses may, "resume operation immediately."

Building Illumination Request
The Presidential Inauguration Committee as part of The Real Estate Roundtable requesting voluntary participation by building owners in a nationwide building lighting ceremony next week to honor the lives of Americans lost to COVID-19. The committee has asked building owners and managers to light their buildings an amber color as a "national moment of unity and remembrance" starting at 5:30pm Eastern this Tuesday, January 19. The lighting ceremony will then take place at 5:30pm in each time zone moving westward. Participating building owners and managers are also asked, but not required, to complete this form to be sent to the Presidential Inaugural Committee.
