Alameda County Moves to Orange COVID-19 Level

Alameda County is now in the Orange Tier of the State’s color-coded 4-tier blueprint for reopening. However, until further notice, there are no Orange Tier activities permitted in Alameda County. Being in the Orange Tier means that the transmission rate for COVID-19 is moderate. Where we rank is based on our case rates, test positivity rate, and a health equity metric, which means that the test positivity rate in the most disadvantaged neighborhoods doesn't significantly lag behind the County's total positivity rate.
