Commercial real estate is a cyclical business that reflects the health of the local economy wherever the property is located. The problem that building owners and managers face is that when the economy is strong everyone projects their rents and values consistently increasing. Unfortunately, when the economy softens attitudes shift and suddenly everyone worries that their rents and values will drop forever. The reality is that rents and property values regularly fluctuate. The key to creating value is to learn from past downward cycles and use those lessons to get you through the current tough times. Come and find out what you can be doing today to create value for tomorrow’s marketplace.
