Julie Taylor, CAE

Julie Taylor, CAE has over twenty-five years of association management. Before joining BOMA Oakland/East Bay, she was with the California Water Environment Association for sixteen years. Most recently while at CWEA she led the team working on education and training. Her most recent strategic project was moving CWEA’s education to 21st Century Education. She was featured in an ASAE article in March 2015 “Sages and Stages No More: How CWEA is remaking its Conference Learning.” She was also named as a Changemaker by MeetingsNet in their 2015 twenty change makers issue.

She has extensive experience in membership development, marketing and budgeting.  She has trained in project management and has extensive experience in planning projects from ideas to implementation to feedback for improvement. Ms. Taylor is skilled and trained in strategic planning.  

Ms. Taylor has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Telecommunications and Film from San Diego State University, emphasis on management with a minor in advertising. She is also a Certified Association Executive (CAE) through the American Society of Association Executives. Julie and has two children, Veronica & Miles and her dog Summer.
