Scott Kirkpatrick

Mr. Kirkpatrick serves as Senior Director of Property Management Operations for Colliers International.  He currently oversees a portfolio of over 60 properties representing 9.8 million square feet in the Northern California region.  Mr. Kirkpatrick has a diverse background representing all asset classes but has primary experience in commercial office product.

In 1984, Scott began his commercial real estate career in Ft Lauderdale, Florida where he managed and leased a mixed use portfolio of commercial high rise, industrial and residential assets for several private developers.

Prior to joining Colliers International, Scott served as the Director of Office Properties for Sierra Pacific Properties, Inc. in Concord, California.  His duties included the oversight, leasing and management of a 1.1 million square foot portfolio of Class A commercial office product.

Mr. Kirkpatrick also served as General Manager for ING Clarion Realty Services providing leasing and management for a portfolio of institutional grade assets in the San Francisco Bay Area.  Scott assisted the ING Clarion acquisition team in identifying both core and value-add assets for purchase in the region by providing local due diligence work.  Scott served on both the ING Clarion Steering Committee and their in-house terrorism emergency response team (TERA) formulating and implementing strategies for the ING Clarion commercial office portfolio.

Mr. Kirkpatrick arrived in the San Francisco Bay Area in 1987 where he accepted a position with Norris, Beggs and Simpson managing a mixed portfolio of commercial grade high rise, industrial and retail assets.  Scott was responsible for the management of 490 Post Street, an historically significant medical office building located on Union Square in downtown San Francisco.  During his tenure, he assisted in establishing a medical/dental association of downtown practitioners whose purpose was to revitalize the medical community’s presence in the Central Business District.  

Mr Kirkpatrick holds the following degrees and accreditiations:

  • Bachelor of Science degree with a major in General Management and a minor in Marketing from Florida Atlantic University, Boca Raton, Florida.
  • Real Property Administrator (RPA) designation from the BOMI Institute.
  • Certified Property Manager (CPM) designation from the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM).
  • Licensed Real Estate Salesperson in California
