Helen has more than eight years experience in the real estate business in the areas of office, retail, single-family and multi-family property management.  Helen’s current assignment with Cushman & Wakefield of California, Inc. (C&W) is that of Property Manager at The Waterfront in Alameda.  The Waterfront is a Class A office and industrial campus comprised of six buildings totaling 385,000 rentable square feet on 25 acres.  In her current role, she has experienced oversight of tenant improvement projects ranging in size from 1,000 to 50,000 square feet. Her day-to-day responsibilities include tenant and vendor relations, property operations, financial reporting, budgeting, accounting and management of a staff of four employees.

In Helen’s earliest career, she worked in the banking industry for nine years with San Francisco Federal Savings and Loan in branch operations.  She began her real estate career with Boardwalk Investment Group, Inc. in Walnut Creek where she worked for several years as property manager responsible for a diverse portfolio, including small commercial, single-family and multi-family properties. Immediately prior to coming to C&W, she worked in retail property management for Safeway, Inc.,

Helen has a B.A. degree in Human Development from California State University East Bay, Hayward.  She is a licensed California Real Estate Broker, a member of the Board of Directors for BOMA Oakland/East Bay, and is currently enrolled in BOMI’s Real Property Administrator program.
